An Evangelical and a Mormon in Dialogue

What are the theoligical differences between Evangelical Christians
and Latter-day Saints (Mormons)? What are the challenges and blessings
of building bridges between faiths?
Reverend Gregory V. Johnson, an ordained Baptist minister, and
Professor Robert L. Millet, of Brigham Young University, will be the
featured speakers this Friday, May 16, at "An Evangelical and a Mormon
in Dialogue," hosted by the Valley Forge Stake of The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints, 721 Paxon Hollow Road, Broomall,
Pennsylvania, 19008. The event begins at 7:30 p.m., and is free and
open to the public.
Both men are committed to sharing with others a model of friend****p,
communication, cooperation and outreach. Reverend Johnson and
Professor Millet will explore and answer questions about their
religious upbringing and deep devotion to their own faith traditions.
