Well, Topaz has managed it, even if he was mostly quoting someone else.
It just shows that sane-looking insanity is not the prerogative of one
side or another: there is a frightening amount of it about.
On the other hand, a number of commentators have pointed out that, if
the allies need help from Iran and Syria to escape the chaos of Iraq
(which they clearly do) they should be looking for ways to reward such
help, not to punish those expected to give it.
