Yes, it is one of those series that is "enlightening" in the sense of 
opening your eyes to a reality that you thought was familiar, but was 
full of generalities and inaccuracies.  And was so well done, that even 
weeks or months afterwards, pieces of it come back spontaneously to 
please the mind.

Really exceptional.

One of the things that was so great about it is that all the "side 
roles" were filled by very gifted actors, from the incredible depiction 
of King George to the wonderful panel of Dutch bankers that reviewed the 
petition for Adams' original loan.  All very authentic-seeming.
