How so ?

The Chinese, in order to prevent Mac Arthur's army
from marching into Beijing via the Yalu River at the
border with N Korea....were prepared to die by
the hundreds of thousands. Over half a millions
Chinese died  in order to prevent US troops
from marching into China.  This is not patriotism ?

In contrast, US GIs fled from Vietnam.....in defeat.
Americans not willing to send their sons to die in
the defence of USA honour. This is the reason
for US defeat in Vietnam.  Is this patriotism ?
