What contributions have you ever made to any thread including
this one?  Close to nothing.  I think it is because your
intellect is not free.

You challenge me idly as to whether I am trained in Thiering
pesher.  At the same time my policy is not to teach it on the NGs.
In any case, people are free to pick up on it in my prior messages
in the Archives.

Lately, I've done bedside reading with Suzuki's Introduction to
Zen Buddhism.  The famous gatha that summarizes Zen is -

"Empty-handed I go, and behold the spade is
     in my hands;
I walk on foot, and yet on the back on an ox
     I am riding;
When I pass over the bridge,
Lo, the water floweth not, but the bridge doth
     flow."

I challenge you to explain what the author, Fudai****, meant
in his description of the truth.
