Essenes used the term Sons of Light as did Jesus Christ.

Friends, or at least im****tant elements of them, claim to
be Friends of Christ from John's Gospel.

The new revelations from Dr. Thiering make clear that
the flesh and blood Jesus was once an Essene under
the Zadokite priest John the Baptist but split from the
Essenes at his baptism.

The harsh truth is that modern Quakers have no historical
knowledge of Essene ideals in the first place.  IOW they
know nothing.

My rather unique experience in the world was to reveal the
essentials of Christian Origins in the Spirit over quite a
few years during Quaker Wor****p and have it go in one
ear and out the other for a group of 75 people or so.

What a letdown for the good name of Quakers and what
they are supposed to stand for!  OTOH I suppose we can
confine the blame to Wellesley Meeting and their lower
morality.  Yet, let the dead bury the dead for now.
