Flavius Josephus wrote at the end of the first
century that the Essenes were Pythagorean.
"The Essene lifestyle and the Pythagorean lifestyle
were the same. (Antiquities 15.10.4).
Was Jesus a Pythagorean?
Did he abstain 5 years from talking?
Did he abstain from wine?
Did he abstain from meat?
Did the writers of the gospels paint him an ascetic?
Only with the Buddha-Like 40 day fast thing.
Was Jesus a "Hellenised person of Juda"?
You have absolutely no archaeology citations!
And you are failing to explain the EXTANT citations.

Is any archaeology OR history appropriate
to this conjecture? The Essenes are described
by Josephus and Philo as "Hellenised Jews".
