Last night I was channel surfing (during a commercial break on Leno) and
paused on the BYU Channel.
I think the program was "Education Week" and the speaker was a fellow
named Christenson.
One thing he said I thought a bit odd for an LDS person to say.
Sorry I can't recall it verbatim.
But speaking about Jesus he was saying that one thing he wanted his
audience to remember was that even more im****tant than Jesus being our
elder brother was that he was God.
I thought the LDS emphasize the deity of God the Father. Like one
should pray to him not to the Son etc..
And the LDS emphasis on the Son is in regards to the Atonement and not
his being a deity.
