So the gist of it is that the state has to kidnap
every child and coerce them into being indoctrinated
into american culture because otherwise
they might grow up to be mormon fundamentalists.

Somehow I fail to see how that helps the kids....
I think that the violence conducted against them
by the state is worse than any coercion they
might experience within their ethnic group.

Whatever the accusations, it is wrong to kidnap
the children of an entire village just because there
is one bad person in the village. (Or just because
some non-affiliated person made a prank call
to social services.)
