I well-know of that, but this would make it impossible for Mormons to
make much sense of the Old Testament. "Ah, see? Joel is seeming pretty
monotheistic in this passage. The poor sot -- he's deep in the throes
of apostasy just there." LdS are only sane, of course, in not being
willing to embrace this in any practical way. They're free to quote
whatever seems happy to them from the Old Testament, because the
measure of truth is how good it feels on the inside -- inasmuch as
this is taken to be the witness of the Spirit.
