I think you may have a misunderstanding of the doctrine of Immaculate
Conception. It applies to Mary, but not to Jesus. But that really is
of no relation****p to a "Mormon" news group. We as Latter-day Saints
really do not want to discuss what we may or may not think that Roman
Catholics believe.
But it is interesting to me that you (are you some sort of Protestant
or are you merely someone who likes to talk about religions?) think
"Mormons" hide Heavenly Mother and don't mention that Protestants do
as well. I believe that most of those who claim themselves to be
Christians of any variety do believe in some way that Jesus meant what
He said when He taught His disciples to pray, saying "Our Father ..."
In man's logic, was there ever a father where there was not also a
mother? So why do Protestants never mention the possibility of a
Mother in Heaven?
Of course I admit that this las question really has no real place on a
"Mormon" news group.
