31
And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of Pure Gold
[i.e. *un-Adulterated Word of ALLAH* The Glorious (PURE GOLD) Al-
Qur'an];
[of] beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made
[Understanding requires HIS Instruction -- Exert *effort* (struggle
with The Pure Gold) AND Follow Instruction]
its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be
of the same.

And Six Branches shall come out of the sides thereof --
three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof,
and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;

three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch,
[Almonds are like 'arrow heads' -- they have a point - i.e. symmetric
in one axis, a-Symmetric in the (longer) axis]
a knob and a flower:
and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch,
a knob and a flower:
[The branches are complementary]
so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.

And in the lamp-stand
[Central]
four cups shaped like almonds,
its knobs and its flowers;

and a knob under two branches of it,
and [again] a knob under two branches of it,
and [again] a knob under two branches of it,
for the six branches
that proceed
out of the lamp-stand.

HE Taught the Qur'an

HE Created man,

And Taught him plain speech

The sun and the moon run their courses according to a Fixed Reckoning

And the stemless plants and the trees humbly submit to HIS Will
8
And the heaven HE has raised high and set up the measure,
9
That you may not exceed the measure
10
So weigh all things with justice and fall not short of the measure
11
And HE has set the earth for HIS creatures;
12
Therein are all kinds of fruit and palm-tree with sheaths,
13
And grain with its husk and fragrant plants
14
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, O men and
jinn, deny ?
15
He created man of dry ringing clay which is like baked pottery
16
And the jinn HE created of the flame of Fire
17
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
18
The Lord of the two Easts and the Lord of the two Wests
19
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
20
HE has made the two bodies of water flow
They will one day meet;
21
Between them there is at present a barrier; they cannot encroach one
upon the other
22
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
23
There come out from both of them pearls and coral
24
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
25
And HIS are the lofty ****ps reared aloft on the sea like mountains
26
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
27
All that is on earth will pass away;
28
And there will abide for ever only the Person of thy Lord, Master of
Glory and Honour
29
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
30
Of HIM do beg all that are in the heavens and the earth
Everyday HE reveals himself in a different state
31
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
32
Soon shall WE attend to you, O ye two big groups !
33
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
34
O company of jinn and men ! if you have power to break through the
confines of the heavens and the earth, then break through them
But you cannot break through save with authority
35
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
36
There shall be sent against you a flame of fire, and molten copper;
and you shall not be able to help yourselves
37
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
38
And when the heaven is rent asunder and become red like red hide
39
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
40
On that day neither man nor jinn will be asked about his sin
41
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
42
The guilty will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by
their forelocks and their feet
43
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
44
And they will be told: `This is the Hell which the guilty denied,
45
`Between it and the fierce boiling water will they go round.'
46
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
47
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord there are two gardens
-

Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

Having many varieties of trees
50
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

In each of them there are two fountains flowing freely
52
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

Therein will be every kind of fruit in pairs
54
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
55
The inmates thereof will recline on couches over carpets, the linings
of which will be of thick brocade
And the fruit of the two Gardens will be within their easy reach
56
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
57
Therein will also be chaste maidens restraining their glances, whom
neither man nor jinn will have touched before them -
58
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
59
As if they were rubies and small pearls;
60
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
61
Is the reward of goodness anything but goodness ?
62
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
63
And besides these two, there are two other gardens -

Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

Dark green with foliage -
66
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?
67
Therein also will be two springs, gu****ng forth with water
68
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

In both of them there will be all kinds of fruit, and dates and
pomegranates
70
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

Therein will be maidens, good and beautiful

Fair maidens with lovely black eyes, guarded in pavilions -

Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

Whom neither man nor jinn will have touched before them -

Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

Reclining on green cu****ons and beautiful carpets
78
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will ye twain, deny ?

BLESSED IS THE NAME OF THY LORD
