Do you know?

by Terence Nesbit <TerryKidd@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 16, 2008 at 01:57 AM

Revelations tells us to be observant of what is happening in the rest of
the
world. At no other time was this possible, and there are numerous ways of
finding out what is going on in the rest of the world today. Be watchful,
be careful.
What existed in the beginning? Man and woman. God. The light and the dark.
The above, and the beneath, and man between in order to pick? Some people
would like to say that the Bible is to be interpreted, and most of the
time
this interpretation is not to be literal. But there is something wrong
with
this assertion. Understanding is not just about knowledge, or
intelligence,
it is about faith. That is why the disciples could speak in tongues and
could be understood by those that listened to them and watched them that
spoke those languages. To suggest that an interpretation, especially one
that is contrary to other scriptures, should guide us is ludicrous. Must
be
why many are called, but few are chosen. And to tell the truth, if the
Bible were easily understood, there would be no reason to say that most
would be made known later.
There is also an argument that the Bible has been diluted in some way,
form,
or fa****on. Perhaps, but it has not been altered that much. Why?
Because
if the disciples did not understand all that was said when it was said,
why
could the person editing the Bible understand what was written? Is it any
easier to understand? No. Is there some other way that the Bible has
been
altered? Revelations says do not add or take from the Bible as it was.
Why
do we believe that it has been altered? Too much was missed because the
editor could not understand what was being said for any alteration to be
that im****tant. The Bible still says nay and yea, and covers everything.
