Your reply ovestates the case somewhat. After all, with the multitude of
denomination you mention, it is only to be _expected_ that the reply you
give to
one group will be quite unconvincing to another. Consider, for example,
trying
to teach St. Gregory of Palamas's treaching concerning uncreated grace to
both
Arminians and Calvinists; their objections will be _completely_ different.
So
claiming that it "_has_ to be addressed that way" is admitting that the
task is
impossible to start with.

I haven't read this particular book. I have read other books by Regina
Orthodox
Press. I found them persuasive on first read, but their scholar****p was
actually
less than watertight, so that when compared with more scholarly
books/articles
on the very same topics, suddenly they weren't so convincing anymore.
