Always live a life of repentance unto God,
both before and after you are saved.
Make such an effort to repent
that you come to realize
that only God is good
and that your best efforts
are infinitely short
of his standard and salvation.
And when you realize that
and that you cannot save yourself
and that you are the problem
rather than the solution,
then take all that trust
that you placed on yourself and church
in that effort to help Christ save you,
and rather place all that trust on Christ alone
to be your entire righteousness for salvation,
and Christ will then be your righteousness
and your salvation and eternal life.
