Gordon,
Yes, there is a good reference work that goes into the writing of each
book of the WHOLE Bible, but also other things, such as what
manuscripts were available for translators to use in their Bible
translations etc. It is the book: "All Scripture Is Inspired of God
and Beneficial". Just go to the web page below for information on
