Actually, the verses states "If your right eye offends you then pluck
it out." and "If your right hand offends you then cut if off." The
reference to commiting adultery "in his heart" comes in the verse just
preceding those.
The use of the word "right", as in "right eye", would infer
'righteous.' That is an opposing thought to the passage, but is
intended. The writer is saying one thing while meaning another. The
passage is angry sarcasm from homo***ual Jews who are claiming
righteousness, despite having the nature which they know offends. (No,
Christ did not speak those words.)
The phrase "in his heart" presses at the impossibility of the control
of *** (at least at thought level), yet may still seem a justifiable
accusation, since Christ is concerned about the heart. It may seem
valid, the writer is actually saying, but is not.
This is the homo***uals' complaint. They are refering to themselves
as the "right eye" and the "right hand" being removed by Moses' law,
which Christ did not reverse. They accuse Moses of over-reaction to
just being offended; to the point of cutting off the homo***uals from
life as a Jew. Being offended at homo***uality, they contend, is not
enough to justify Moses' brutal cutting and plucking, stoning
response.
But, in spite of their complaint, the sin of the homo***ual is real.
Homo***uality is a substantial disturbance on the social relations of
man. And as such it is a sin against the creation of God, and against
God. If the devil wants to interfere in the relations of man,
homo***uality is his tool. The first one damaged is the homo***ual.
He/she cannot have a normal family, having been taken away from normal
relations. Their stubborn refusal to repent, and accept the costs of
the errant path they chose, is not unusual.
Stoning them would be valid just for the sake of self-protection. The
social structure is im****tant. There's is not. Homo***uality can
never be anything less than a burden, and often deeper trouble.
But they accuse that lack of normalcy as the hetero***uals' decision,
so they wrote their own words into the gospels intended to take
normalcy from hetero***uals; without care for the damage that would
do. And it was much.
Homo***uality is real corruption, and being corrupted they _will_
corrupt what is around them, so their own corruption may be hidden. It
certainly is not up to them to define what is acceptable, though they
wil try. To cover themselves they will destroy. They did what they
could to destroy the Gospel with intense subversion. Grace, for no
other reason than belief, is destructive nonsense. The belief, the
_fantasy_ they are justified is the only thing they have, the only
thing they give.
If the accusation against homo***uality was not valid then it would
wash away on its own. But the reality of the interference of
homo***uality makes that impossible.
If you force your fantasy on me, then for self-protection, and under
God, I will stone you.
If you presume your own words on God, before man, then He may have
something even more troubling.
