This is probably a simple question, but here goes.....
When Jesus was crucified the Jews went to the Romans because they
couldn't condemn him to death without their permission. However, they
kill Stephen outright without any permission from the Romans. Why? Why
such a big deal for Jesus, but Stephen they just killed?
