If you actually _knew_ the Fathers, you would not accept this conclusion

breezily. Especially when they were accepted as mostly correct for _so_
long.

Now what was that supposed to mean? Do you really expect us to believe
that just
because they can differ on _some_ doctrines, we cannot count on them to be
correct when they all agree? Or at least to speak with great and weighty
authority when they all agree?

Ah, but when many people _claim_ to be all doing this, then _they_ are the
ones
who "disagree on some doctrines" and even "contradict each other". So now
you
have left us with a situation in which Paul can be right, but when we read
Paul,
we cannot be right!

But _are_ they additions? And even if they are 'additions', some may be in
error, but by the same token, some may NOT be in error. But you use this
response to dismiss _all_ of them. That's not right.
