You need a less ambiguous translation.  But even yours sayd "to be"
not "get".  Try NIV:

48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then 
they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.

In other words, the church was ordered to baptize them.  So you
should indeed be sorry.

That's what follows naturally from a work-righteous view of Baptism.
When God commands us not to steal, that command makes sense.  Treating
the silly little ritual of sprinkling people with water makes no
sense, yet you treat it as an "ordinance".   If you'd treat it
as an act of the Holy Spirit, rather than your own action, it's
make much more sense.
