2 Samuel 23:8-39 and 1Chronicles 11:10-47 give a list of David's mighty
men,
warriors resplendent in their service to the king.
I am not an expert in geography or the family lines of the Old Testament,
but these lists *seem* to be filled with non-Israelites...not exclusively,
of course; but many of them appear *not* to be Israelites.
Is this an accurate reading of text?
