Now you are going to suggest that it is merely a city with the same name, 
not the same city, and then you're going to claim that the scripture is in

error because diggers didn't find evidence of the scriptural account in
the 
wrong city?

It is evidence that Jericho existed. That there is a conflict over when 
which walls were destroy or how they were destroyed is irrelevant, which 
account one believes is a matter of which account he accepts as infallible

or more reliable.
