Well it is hardly surprising that you would find such behaviour among
the so-called religious. Religious institutions provide the perfect
hiding place for moral degenerates who often are in complete denial as
to their own illnesses or who believe that by "prayer" they can be
cured of their mental illnesses. What better place to be in close
proximity to the object of your desire than as a "youth" pastor etc.
Meanwhile the devout are lulled into a sense of complacency by the
"obvious" moral nature of their so-called spiritual leaders. The
predators in their midst use the pulpit as a device to further
disguise their actions by painting out gay men and women etc as being
the perverts who engage in all sorts of moral "degeneracy" which of
course is not to be found within the church. These stereotypes,
whether false or half truths are emphasized and then used to hide
behind by the true predators.
