A Nixa man charged with beating a female juvenile relative has
resigned as pastor of the church he served when arrested for felony
child abuse.
Michael Vargo, 35, voluntarily resigned March 2, as pastor of Calvary
Bible Church, Nixa, according to information from a deacon with the
church.
