Tried that too. It is better, but Karl Popper still seems longwinded 
about what seems to me to be commonsense. I even have a conference paper 
from the 70s which looks at some of those issues, presented at the Royal 
Society in London (but not to the Royal Society, unfortunately). The 
foundations of mathematics is much more interesting. (but note that this 
weeks New Scientist has an article about the philosophy of science, and 
points out that while most scientists sup****t Popper, they don't 
actually work that way at all. What they really do is take a much more 
commonsense approach!)
