And this might amuse you.. my electric buggy stopped during my last 
round. It had been stopping and starting, and I had to push it the rest 
of the way. It's damn heavy without the motor going too! The battery 
alone weighs 8 kilos (18lb)! Anyway, I spent much of today pulling it to 
bits to try to fix, but eventually gave up in disgust. Later today a 
friend rang, and I told the story, and he said.. 'did you check the 
battery?' Duh! it was a bad connection. But to my credit I had put a 
meter on it, and it showed 12v, which it's supposed to, and i knew the 
battery was charged, but apparently when under load it was unable to 
supply enough current (power) to run the motors (400watts)
