Yep!  They're written to make more converts not to inform people about 
Jesus' life.  Didn't you notice that there is very little written about 
Jesus' life prior to John the Baptist's ministry ... and the childhood 
stories are mostly make-believe?

Where?  I quote the few verses that Jesus said in his lifetime that are 
recorded in John's gospel.  Everything that the real Jesus said was 
remembered in short sayings that were easily recalled decaxdes later for
the 
gospels.

Jesus probably did that.  He definitely upset the Romans enough for them
to 
crucify him.
