Agreed: this is *the* mark of genuine Christianity. Once we've 
degenerated into vilification, we've lost the plot. (Sez he, repenting 
of any occasions when he might have been less irenic than he should have 
been).

I'm trying to be disciplined in this area at the moment: any whiff of 
vilification and we move right along...
