It is a question of plate tectonics, a study that has only come into
its own in the last century. And it is also a question of
uniformitarianism. ie  the situations in the world today are as they
have always been back through the ages. By that idea  there are those
who discredit a worldwide flood in the time of Noah.

As for your arithmetic question the continents had a much shorter
distance to move than the cir***ference of the earth - a measurement,
from my memory, I think you gave me to use. The Americas had to move
from Africa, Australia and Antarctica had to move from Asia.

The fact is the Pangaea - the land in one place with the seas in one
place does match the reading of the beginning of Genesis in the Bible.
It is therefore right and proper that Creationists who have high level
degrees should work through their studies and reserach to determine
whether the ***scientific  facts*** match better the Biblical record
than do the studies of the Evolutionists - Old-Age earthers.

The fact is that Pangaea, as it has come to be called, did exist and
from, an Internet site - not Creationist, there is a spread of similar
fossil evidence from continent to continent to indicate a continuity
of the land m***** in those parts in the ancient world.

The only great turbulance in the ancient world which may have been
responsible for the break-up of the one continent, of which I am
aware, is the flood in the time of Noah.
