This is rather interesting as I know of several.  Apparently you have 
been lied to.  This is not surprising.  Creationist apologetics are 
literally driven by lies.

Indeed, our branch of the fossil family tree has become rather cluttered 
of late.  So much so, that most of the arguments are about which members 
belong where on the tree.

Moreover, the sequence genomes of humans and chimps demonstrate well 
beyond reasonable doubt that we share common genetic ancestry.  There are 
artifacts that simply cannot be explained by the intelligent reuse of 
genetic codes.  That is to say, there are the traces of viral insertions 
and genetic damage that can only be the result of common descent.

So now you are God?Because the choice is not between God and some human.  
It is just between you and some other human.  Of course without real 
skill at prayer, all you have is your own misinterpretation of Scripture. 

I personally don't believe you could pray your way out of a wet paper 
bag.  So all of your claimed knowledge of God comes from your cult's 
misinterpretations of Scripture.

I'd say you do need God, but do not have any real connection to Him.  But 
you wish to be seen as having such a connection so you fake it.  Once you 
start down that road lies become easy, and the evil multiplies.  Before 
long, you are breaking several of God's commandments on a regular basis 
and defending the actions as being "good."

I trust God.  I don't for a millisecond trust self-appointed spokespeople 
who try to tell me about God.  Most of them have no knowledge of Him 
whatever.  But they have massive egos, and they confuse any challenge to 
the supremacy of those egos with a challenge to God.

Antiscience crusades such as latter day creationism are based on 
arrogance.  And they thrive on the temptation to it.
