How can you scientifically prove uniformitarianism in the evolutionary
time scale of millions and billions of years ago.

Population Doubling Mechanisms show that the world could have  been
inhabited by humans in  much less time than was given to High School
HSC students in the 1980's as 1 billion to 1800 (taking 2 - 5 million
years but only another 5 billion to 1998  in approximately 200 years!
Today's population could easily have come in 4400 years from the time
of Noah and his ark.
PDM works on ratios ie 5 to 10 matches 5 million to 10 million.
