JUDGEMENT 17
Ex 22: 6 If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks
of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he
that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
My comments:
When you instigate any action, first make sure you will do no harm.
With a fire literally you have to be very careful where you light it =96
in a hot country with trees and bushes it is best to light it on
stones or near the sea or on the sand. And make sure you watch it and
it is properly extinguished.
Don`t let your actions destroy other people`s property.
Similarly wrong words can incite people to do harm and cause much
destruction:
James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great
things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue
among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on
fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
For example, a person could say =93Something needs to be done about this
or that situation=94=85 and those who regard them as a leader then go out
and burn cars, damage others` property, or worse =96 destroy others`
lives.
