JUDGEMENT 13
Ex 21:33 And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit,
and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;
34 The owner of the pit shall make it good, and give money unto the
owner of them; and the dead beast shall be his.
My comments:
If you do anything that is potentially dangerous you must take steps
to ensure no-one will be harmed accidentally. For example =96 cover a
pit or hole in the ground so no one will fall in it or put their leg
down it accidentally. Put a wall or fence around a flat roof or a
place with a steep drop.
If anyone suffers loss because of your negligence you must compensate
them and the item lost (in this case a dead animal) is yours.
