as there is no "Messiah" in all of the hebrew scriptures this is
congruent with the speaker's canon.
however if he is in the tradition of the `hassayim` / `essaioi` then a
trend toward a single personality to catalyze the "restoration" seems
to be evident in the qumran texts.
although not as blatantly as in [the not yet mature] "Christianity"
