And nine or ten of the wives were older than that, I think. Can't help 
thinking that in a pioneer society, where early marriage was fairly common

generally, even women over 25 were probably not considered particularly 
youthful and attractive (as they would be nowadays). So there was probably

more to it than just Smith's personal desire to bonk a lot of cute babes.
