On the other hand, "For as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be
at the coming of the Son of Man."
Noah knew the end time, but those who scoffed did not know because of
their non-belief. "They did not know until the flood came." But they
*could have* known had they listened to Noah. He knew.
That's what's happening today. A lot of scoffers but very few
believers. One reason I suppose is because the Bible can be very
difficult to understand correctly. Another reason is that people love
instant gratification. Nothing but pleasure occupies their lives. If
they can't understand something, they'll write it off as not
worthwhile an endeavor, and proceed to glutton themselves in what they
do understand, over-eating and over-spending.
