Indeed. Birds of a feather... It's that closed, ethnocentric 
self-protective tribal group mentality based on submission to and 
obedience to the LDS Church line of patriarchal authority. Factual 
reality becomes an enemy to be attacked if it raises its head and in 
anyway threatens their imaginary group-think party line dogma and/or 
agenda.

Allegiance to the group's ideology even trumps individual conscience and 
rational objectivity. It's that same "us vs them" tribal group mentality 
that lead a group of Mormons under the direction of their church leaders 
to savagely slaughter 120 helpless men, women and children after having 
tricked them out of their weapons by deceitfully offering them safe 
passage.
