Armageddon basically is about worldwide conflict, but not just from a
military standpoint.
When the people who are left behind after the Rapture realize that
they have been already judged and found wanting, the earth will quake
tremendously, all over, not just at some fault-ridden area.
At this point, one nation may want to seize the advantage over another
nation and strike strategically while the other nation is weakened.
You can see the chaos derived from this scenario, and it's the five-
month period after the Rapture has taken place. This is what
Revelation 9 is describing, the horror people experience when they see
that they have been rejected by God, for one reason or another. They
are stuck on earth, forced to fend for themselves.
At the end of this five-month Tribulation, Christ establishes his
1,000-year reign on earth, His second coming that brings the second
Garden of Eden. And the world will be run the way He has always
wanted it to be run. All judgement and punishment will be perfect.
All labor and payment will be perfect.
