Mozilla was nice except for the terrifying netscape flashbacks it gave
me. If you want a browser with a cor****ation behind it, like God
intended, get Opera. Since 6.0, and especially since 7.0, Opera
(current version 7.23) has made amazing strides towards compatibility
with IE-intended webpages. And you can google from the ordinary address
bar: just type g searchwords and hit return, and whango. Nice
customizable search-engine shortcuts, with a good mix of customizing in-
UI and having to go into the user files with notepad, also like god
intended.
It has pop-up blocking built-in, and you can turn it on, off, or to
"requested pop-ups only" using the superbly useful quick-preferences key
(F12) which brings up a menu of commonly-adjusted prefs. I like it the
most because it has a quick proxy-toggle for my super-duper webfilter,
Proximatron 4.4 (Naoko). Proximatron is out of development, but who
cares, you can add your own filters and it starts with a ton of options.
If you can quantify what code you don't want to see anymore, Proximatron
can cripple it, and it'll probably throw in a Shonen Knife reference to
boot. Just turn off the garish colors before your remaining eye melts.

Opera's free with the ad-sup****ted version, or affordable without ads.
So get Mozilla if you're aiming to get what you pay for. Get Opera if
you're willing to pay a little money. And if worse comes to worse, get
Avant Browser (runs over IE) to make IE a tolerable experience (works
great with Proximatron, too, with easier proxy-bypass than vanilla IE,
but not as quick as Opera.)

It's an Italian-American Mexican Standoff!
