I like to close correspondence with a couple of different options:
Thanks again, -- pure callback, good for sucking up to clients and
thanking people again for things I already thanked them for.
Regards, -- Softball for official correspondence or for friends when the
email is mostly non-maudlin.
Sincerely, -- Official requests, or maudlin notes.
Yours, -- Good friends get this, or people I'd like to be good friends.
Also Yrz, Yrs, and Your Worst Nightmare,
Yours in fear and loathing, -- emailing Tom Richardson.
Yours in ___ -- (something different that references the email in a
clever way) goes to cute women who'll never sleep with me.
Your friend, -- special case where I just want them to think that I want
to sleep with them.
Take this time to check emails I've sent you in the past to see which
pigeonhole I've placed you in. So far I'm totally inconsistent, so all
conclusions ever are null and void.

This is my a.r.k signoff, mostly. Something funny here, if I can
manage.
