It stands to reason that Jodi Foster had her cast, since they both
played the same character at different ages in "Contact," though one
notes that they never appeared together on screen for that reason, so
maybe they never even met during the filming of that movie. Still, do
not be surprised if some psychotic bozo tries to get her attention by
shooting a famous and/or powerful person, or something. We don't know
how closely these two actresses are tied together.
And-- say, is this a high horse beneath me? I edited the paragraph
above because I didn't want to suggest to the security force of a
particular famous/powerful person that I or anyone I know want to shoot
or have shot that person, only to suggest that such things happen,
thanks to the existence of psychotic bozos. I believe it should go
without saying that such things are very very bad, but apparently it
doesn't, so I'm saying that such things are very very bad, and I'm glad
there's no chance I'll be a part of it. w00t for me. However, also bad
is the fact that people who ****tray the metaphoric assassination of this
famous/powerful person, even in his defense, are reactively investigated
at taxpayer expense.
