I was picking raspberries on a farm when the farmer showed up
with a Chinese (Taiwan or Mainland, I don't know which) tour group.
He had given all of them little half pint containers which
they could fill with raspberries and eat as part of the tour.
Half of them were very excited and rushed into the field.

Picking raspberries on a sunny day is just a lovely experience.

The other half screwed up their faces and refused to go into the field.
Later I asked the farmer what was up and he told me
that the interpreter said that they considered it to be "farmers work".

I suddenly felt a strong urge to nationalize their assets,
which I thought was strange since as a typical American,
communism has no appeal to me.
