Need to backslide a little here because your question should be
answered. The way I read your question about why the press isn't
re****ting the deaths in a certain way is because the press actually
believed what Dubya said right after the September 11th attack. Remember
what he said? It was repeated over and over by the press. Put these
words in your favorite search engine, "This is not a War against Islam"
if you forgot already.
So, are you saying this is a religious war now? That's what it sounded
like to me. Of course you are correct... if that is what you are really
saying, but why don't you hear that coming from Dubya? Three guesses?
You only needed one? Did you say that Dubya hasn't quite made up his
mind yet whether he is ready to call it what it is and take the
appropriate actions? Whatever. That's what I say. This war will drag on
until we grasp this fact.
The Christian soldier? Hey really; where the **** are they? One of the
first things I did on that September day was scan through the Christian
channels on my cable to see what the preachers were saying. What I saw
was business as usual... you know... really crappy music... and that
number at the bottom of the screen. And nothing about what just
happened. Why are they afraid to even talk about it? Guess? Did you say
that they are afraid that talking about it might make people realize
that religion is the cause of this? No? Whatever. That's what I say.
Christianity is dead. Islam will tolerate no other religion. You will
soon be annihilated.
