Before I sent the control message, I had a discussion in nanu about text
in
the bin groups and was told by Jeremy (used to work at Supernews) that
they
were using alt.binaries.news-server-comparison for discussions. My concern
at that time was about retention time in the bin groups compared to the
text groups. There were no objections in nanu about using bin groups for
discussion at that time.
I really don't think it is wise to change the policy of this newsgroup
just
because we don't want YKW to post here.
BTW; just checked alt.binaries.news-server-comparison and it is still
active. I don't advise posting bins to that ng.
