No.  I'll try once again...and only one more time:

Atheism does not believe that god caused the universe.  Atheism does not 
believe that no god caused the universe.  Atheism does not even address 
the subject.  The only subject that atheism addresses is the "belief in 
deities" and the lack thereof.

If you want to discuss the origins of the universe, the origin of life, 
or how the current lifeforms came to be, then you're going to go outside 
the *V*E*R*Y* limited scope that "atheism" is.
