I have denied belief that the Watchtower used 1975 to "manipulate its 
followers" as is the common anti-JW rhetoric.

I have repeatedly stated it was those who became JWs for selfish reasons, 
and wanted Jehovah to fast-track Armageddon so they could live in a Club 
Med-style paradise with immortal bodies, who discovered that God is not
one 
to be triffled with or mocked.

I have repeatedly point out from the Bible's book of Jonah, that God can 
change, postpone or cancel prophesied events.

The future is not set in stone. Physicists are only recently discovering
the 
ancient truth that God's timeline is playing out on multiple
trajectories...
