I said that to one of them and their reply was that they could feel the 
presence of their god and his power flowing through them and surly I could

feel it too!

So I asked, how do they tell the difference between an hallucination and 
reality. But their answer was that they knew it was god and not an 
hallucination.

There's no real answer to that.  It must be god because they say it is..!
