Mary God isn't frightened. The first two chapters of the book of Job gives

us a very good allegorical explanaion of what is going on.

Lucifer had no one leading him when he got into this, and had God shut 
Lucifer down it would surely have been only a matter of time before
another 
being was on the same agenda. Shut that one down, then another, then 
another....until all were shut down.

God doesn't want programmed puppets. He wants volitional beings who know 
enough to avoid the pitfalls that Lucifer got into. This level of
knowledge 
requries hands-on experience. That's what we are involved with during this

mortal phase of our existence. Learn enouth about those things that 
intrigued Lucifer and not ever want to go back and explore them any
further. 
That's what it's all about.
