Unfortunately, the believers have fool-proofed the arguments by 

1. Making it a mortal sin to question your beliefs.
2. Prescribing a punishment for disbelief so unfoundedly horrible that no 
one would dare lose the faith.
3. Making examples of heretics and unbelievers by puni****ng them
publically 
and horribly. (Of course, they cannot do this legally any more.)
4. Early childhood brainwa****ng.
5. Blocking the teaching of the sciences which plant seeds of doubt by 
contradicting religious teaching, then supplying undeniable evidence to 
sup****t it.
6. Rationalizing (ie changing) the dogma itself to conform to that which
we 
know about reality wich contradicts the old dogma.

It's not working, though.  Educated people are leaving the church in 
droves.  Some day there will be a world (less the Middle East) free of the

shackles of religion.  Not in my lifetime, sadly...
