Looks like the "Writing on the Moon" argument to me. To be fair it is 
slightly stronger because Jesus did appear to Paul and the disciples. It's

asking for a personal repeat of these events, rather than for one 
unprecedented event evident to the whole world. However I don't see that 
difference as being all that significant.
